Shexariah Language and Translation Services exists to build resiliency by offering high quality synchronous and asynchronous online instruction in Spanish for the Workplace and English as a Second Language. This, we hope, would inspire and motivate learners to acquire culturally appropriate communicative language skills needed to execute official job functions. We also provide freelance document editing, proofreading, and translation services in English and Spanish.
Shexariah Language and Translation Services was birthed during the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic in 2020. In this era of upheaval and uncertainty, it is essential that learning continues and that those who desire may have the opportunity for continued professional development or new learning from anywhere at their convenience.
Our headquarters are in Anguilla, a small British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean.
Sherry Hodge has been a Spanish teacher for the past 20 years and holds a BA in Spanish with a minor in French (UWI). In 2014, she earned an M. Ed. in Educational Leadership (Concordia) and an M. Ed. in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) from la Universidad del Turabo. She has taught Spanish, French, and English to secondary students and ESL, Spanish and French to adult learners over the years.
